Cherwell Scientific Publishing has two environmental software products - ModelMaker and ModelManager

1. ModelMaker, is a mathematical modeling software package that allows one to model all types of environmental situations, hence complex desktop modeling and programming can be easily achieved in a conceptually simple manner.

   It offers a diverse range of model analysis tools including optimisation, confidence interval calculation and sensitivity analysis.

   It provides numerical methods for solving differential equations, model fitting/minimisation, calculation of confidence intervals and development of stochastic models.

   ModelMaker is used at MAFF, the UBA and in some parts of the EPA. there is a demonstration version available for download.

2. ModelManager provides a single environment in which all the data management, analysis and reporting for a research study can be conducted. It uses models written in ModelMaker, as well as Excel and Access.

   It is designed to be used by the non-mathematically trained user and hides all of the detail of the ModelMaker models and analysis calculations. This allows the user to concentrate on the processing the data and producing the final reports. The user can enter several sets of experimental data and automatically fit several models to each dataset and generate a report to compare the results.

   ModelManager is fully customizable, models and reports can be added and deleted from the system and whole new study types can be developed quickly.

   ModelManager is used by Zeneca agrochemicals.
